Biography

Mats Persson is a founder, CEO and senior advisor based in Stockholm.

Mats spent ten years in leading international positions with SCA (now Essity), the last five years as VP Marketing Development. Founded The Core Company brand consultancy in 1995.

With a background in marketing research, Mats has worked with several leading global clients within insights and brand strategy. Mats has written three books on marketing and branding, EcoBranding from 2010 where the start of Mats’ engagement in the sustainability and purpose area.

Mats has worked for Nordic and global clients in many industries, both consumer package goods, industrial companies, banks, staffing companies, automotive.

Mats has an MBA from San Jose University in California
